Great way to see the City
Furry61, 25-09-2022
Great way to see Singapore. There are two lines the red line is for the old city and the yellow line is for the more modern areas. They also give you a showerproof Mac in case of rain . Fortunately I didn’t need it but in definite Singapore style I used my umbrella to shield myself from the Sun . The staff are super friendly, especially Winston. Lovely guy.
Wonderful Singapore tour

Deluxe 2 day ticket with night time tour

Spent the day on and off tour bus finished at suntec hub at 6pm for the night time tour with boo gee soo and captain lim. Really knowledgeable about singapore history and diff buildings in the city. 3 stop off points on tour then we were asked where our hotels were and if they could they would drop us at bus stops near them. Nothing 2 much trouble for these 2 . Well worth US$46 we paid.
Awesome exprience

This was a great way to see the city - buses were always on time and the routes covered all the major attractions. The night tour was awesome as well. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Excellent way to have a quick look around

Very nice way to get around and see the sites with a helpful and knowledeable guide recording. Lots of stops where you can hop off and take in the sites and get back on again when you are done.
Best value to get around Singapore and see everything

We bought a 2 day pass which allowed us to access both tourist routes and see everything we wanted. The service drops you right at the entrance to all the attractions and runs efficiently on time so you can count on being in a particular place at a specific time. If it’s sunny, then sit on the top deck and enjoy the breeze in your hair, if it’s raining or too humid or hot them enjoy the air conditioning of the lower floor.
Big bus tour - would highly recommend

The tour is great and a very easy way to get around Singapore main area and see all the main sites. Winston is hot and a total legend! He must never retire!
Good experience but…

Big Bus has always been a preference to see the city and attractions whenever we’ve traveled across Europe or other countries where they provide their services. They have impressed us and I’m sure others as well with the professionalism and timely service.

Singapore was no different but I only have one comment which left a bitter taste over being an Indian in Singapore and perhaps would give a wrong impression about the country to anyone listening to the commentary. While passing through Little India the commentary focuses on how riots broke out a decade ago due to a drunk guy who got killed under a bus. Now why would a big bus commentary mention such a negative incident specifying a particular nationality and emphasizing it. I may have not perfectly put the emotion into words but it just didn’t feel right. I hope Big bus company will take a good note of this and make amends.
Hop on hop off quickly

We did the two day hop on hop off - drops you off at all the key attractions within walking distance. The app is very efficient and keeps customers up to date with arrival of next buses. The drivers are quick though so if you want to sit upstairs you have to be quick as the bus is moving. Great day all round - can get very hot but ac downstairs is available.
Great way to see Singapore

Being able to go to little India twice! Raffles hotel stop let us have the opportunity to have the Singapore Sling, and then move on. Loved the night market tour and the wonderful guides; and bus driver dropped us at our hotel at the end of the tour
Night tour

We did the night tour that finished up at marina bay gardens. There we watched the light show. Our guide Gee was great looked after everyone. His knowledge of the sites and history made it a great night well worth it
Good experience again

We try to use the hop on hop off bus wherever we go. You get the feeling of the city you’re visiting and we had a good experience here again in Singapore. The only negative remark is that the drivers don’t wait till you’re sitting. They just start driving.
lovely way to spend a couple of hours

we use hop on hop off buses , all over the world, and the Big bus is certainly a great way to do this. We did have to wait longer than advertised for the bus, to me when you are at the mercy pf other factors, i.e the traffic, you just have to grin and bear it, it was only a matter of an extra 15 minutes so no problem, sat in the shade was fine!
the tour itself I think was good, the commentary was a tad sparse and the music boring, but it wasn't anything unusual. All the staff where lovely friendly and helpful with advice etc.
Singapore tour

Sound quality very poor, no headphones offered. Great way to get your bearings of the city though, enjoyed the sights.
Hop on bus was just ok
Claire_C, 02-02-2023
It was a good way to see around Singapore. However, there was no one onboard the bus to ask questions to, and the earbuds they had us use didn’t always work. Also, you had to pretty much know where you wanted to get off the bus yourself because the canned earbud presentation didn’t give enough information about the next stop in order to make a decision. In fact, the yellow line bus gave no information about the stop until after we were already leaving the stop. The evening bus was ok, but one of the stops was to a reservoir that we had to leave the bus to hike to, which was not interesting. We could have been taken somewhere else instead. Dinner was rushed but good. The light show was good at the end of the trip. It was nice to have a tour guide on the night tour.
